Music is heard.....

Earwen, after seeing Haldir in the artroom, walked into the music room.
Luckily, she had stored her cello in here when she had arrived earlier that day.
Picking it up, Earwen began to play a haunting tune, 'Tam Lyn', depicting her depressed mood about Haldir. Feeling the need for something cheery, Earwen started a jig called 'Swallow Tail'.
An odd feeling overwhelming her, Earwen's bow started to play something else. Out came her feelings about returning to school, Haldir, her friends, a certain boy.... :-*

Healer Jiloá leaned against the wall to hear the song that Earwen played. He remembered the song when she played it about Two Terms ago. He waited until she would notice him or when she stops the music. The sound was something he didn't forget. Anything but the sound is the thing he likes.

Selene stopped into the music room when she heard someone playing the cello. She just happened to have her flute with her. She had been on her way to the lakefront to play, but, when she heard the music, she had to see who it was. When she peeked in, she saw Earwen playing and Healer Filonde listening to her. Wow, she's good, she thought.

Earwen noticed the sound of footsteps and glanced up. Still playing, Earwen saw Selene and the Healer, and smiled at them. She was happy that someone was appreciating her music.

Earwen remember the day she started. Her teacher had been very suprised, saying Earwen had a natural gift for music.

Selene smiled and held up her flute case. "I've been playing flute for a while now," she said. "I'm an okay singer too." Selene's mother had taught her how to play the flute and she just liked to sing, but she wasn't sure if anyone else would think that she was any good.

"You like to sing? Awesome. I like singing as well, I just don't know if I'm any good..." Earwen replied. "That's cool how you play the flute. If i had to play a brass insturment, it would definatley be the flute."

Selene smiled. "Actually, Earwen, the flute is a woodwind," she said. It was normal that people mistook the flute for a brass instrument, so Selene had heard this before. It was really no big deal. She pulled the flute out, put it together, and blew a few clear notes. After adjusting the head joint to where it was in tune. "So, what songs do you know?" she asked after tuning the silver instrument.
